PWA 2007 > 'Site settings' > 'Advanced permissions'

Hi gang,

I'm trying to figure out what these different profiles in PWA 2007 > 'Site
settings' > 'Advanced permissions' mean. What do the following 3 profiles
mean?

Project Managers (Microsoft Office Project Server) -
Users who have published this project or who have
Save Project permission in Microsoft Office Project Server.

Team members (Microsoft Office Project Server) -
Users who have assignments in this project in
Microsoft Office Project Server.

Readers (Microsoft Office Project Server) -
Users who have been added to this project in
Microsoft Office Project Server, but not assigned to tasks.

Hi Spiro,

Depending on what role you play on the project, you are given different
rights to the Project Workspace.

Basically, if you published the project, you have full rights on the
workspace.

If you have an assignment on the project, then you can create and edit items
on the workspace.

Finally, if you are a resource on the project, but don't have an assignment,
then you can view the project workspace but cannot create any items.

Certain users get rights to all workspaces, (eg members of the executives
and portfolio managers for example) regardless of whether they have
assignments in the project.
