Question about setting up a view

Anita

Hi there

I'm using Project 2003 and want to set up the following but not sure how...

I've added the resource initials column to my table entry view (fine) and
have displayed resource initials on the Gantt chart instead of names (fine
too) - but want to be able to save this view and use it in other files but
not sure how to do it. I also want to include a new field in the view called
Status that has two options in a drop down list that say 'approved' or 'not
approved' with a smiley face and a sad face.

Any help gratefully received - I'm thinking I need a custom view or a custom
table but not sure which or how to do either!

Thanks v. much

That's really useful thanks! My next problem is that in my table I want a
custom field called Status which I've included as a Text 1 field - I have 2
options in here - approved which has a smiley graphical indicator as the
display or not approved which shows a sad face indicator.

I can't get this to save in the table when I copy the table to global.mpt -
what am I doing wrong?

Thanks again

Anita

You're welcome, Anita, thanks for your kind comment - my, you're a fast
reader! :)

Try copying your customized fields as well via the Organizer.
