Thanks again for taking a stab at answering my Slide Numbering question from yesterday. I sent a follow-up and I am really curious to know your response.

As I said in my follow-up response, I DID set my slide numbering preferences in Slide Master view. And after reading your response, I went back and made doubly certain that I set those prefs while viewing the master. It still did not save the slide numbering with the theme.

I would really like to know if you would expect different results. Based on your response yesterday, it seems that you would expect to have these header/footer prefs saved with the theme as long as they were applied in Slide Master view. So, why would a theme save everything about the masters that I set up, yet ignore those slide numbering preferences that I set?

And I did not forget your suggestion to go with a Template rather than a Theme, but I have a bunch of old decks that I would like to convert to this new look. So, rather than re-bulding them all from a blank Template, I would like to just take those existing decks and apply this new Theme.

Thanks for any response...
