I am trying to help the pastor at my church. I'll supply as much information
as I have now. If you need more information, I will gather it promptly.
He is using Outlook 2003 on a laptop. Using Exchange server 2000. I
believe he is setup for "cached" Exchange mode. We have DL's setup in a
public folder. If he attempts to send to the public folder he receives a
window titled "microsoft office word" with the message "an internal support
function returned an error". Other people in the office are able to use the
same DL's without error.
I have updated the machine with all Windows updates and Office updates.
If I OK the error, and then try to enumerate the DL, I get another error
(sorry I didn't record it). If I click OK to that error, then I am able to
send the e-mail. But then next time I close and re-open outlook it fails
again.
I've searched these archives and the web and found others with the issue but
no resolutions.
Thanks,
Tim
