Receiving only the latest messages

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) Processor: Intel Email Client: pop My mail is saved on the server, and I have a second mac that is left at a summer home. Is there a way to only download the last x days of messages and not every thing thing that is stored on the server.

My mail is saved on the server, and I have a second mac that is left at a
summer home. Is there a way to only download the last x days of messages and
not every thing thing that is stored on the server.

You can use your browser to move mail out of the Inbox to archive that mail.
Entourage only downloads from the Inbox. I suggest doing this regardless. If
the server gets rebooted all those messages get new message IDs and
Entourage would download all again.
