redirect rule, mailbox size

We are running exchange 2003, with outlook 2003, and have setup a rule on our
outlook profiles to redirect incoming messages to another email address, and
then delete the message.

We also have a policy set on the exchange server, that prevents sending
email (or creating anything) if the users mailbox is full, but allows them to
continue to receive mail.

My question is, once the rule automatically redirects, and then deletes the
message (placing the message in the deleted items folder), if their mailbox
becomes full, will the rule continue to redirect messages, or is a
redirection the same as forwarding or sending a message?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Matt
