Release management

Are there any design practices/patters for consolidating project plans with
release management, environment management, and test management planning?
Any users that have been able to put this into practice?

We currently use MS Project in all of the above areas but not in a
consolidated manner. We are looking to move to MS EPM (Project + Portfolio
server), and are interested how this can help us in these areas.

Hi there,
I assisted an organization here in South Africa with the release
management side - to incorporate that within the project server
environment. They've created a "release management" calendar and the
project managers need to apply this calendar on the specific task
within the schedules and it works well for them.
