Remote access to PWA?

K

Kris R.

What would it take to provide external access to PWA? Access outside the
firewall? OR what would it take to put another box outside the firewall and
use it to serve PWA? Is that even possible? What are the options?

Basically, we have a client that needs to provide PWA access to people
outside their organization - WAY outside their organization. Is that even
possible?

Thanks,
Kris

Hi,

Yes, look into using Terminal Services on a server inside your firewall. It
can be safely accessed from outside the firewall and doesn't need much
bandwidth.

Forgive my ignorace, Rod, but are you saying that outside users should
terminal service in to that werver to access PWA on that server?

Thanks,

Hi,

If that is the easiest way past the firewall, yes. I know a large company
doing just that. They don't even have access to IE from where they are, but
do have access to a terminal services server inside there company's
firewall.
