Remove Menu Ribbon Tab

S

Sanya Ibrahim

Hello All,
I was experimenting with adding some items to a Custom Ribbon Tab in Word
2007. I succeeded, and items were displayed in the "Add-Ins" tab of the Menu
ribbon. Now I do not know how to remove or make make invisible the "Add-In"
tab.
Can anyone help me please?
Thanks a lot in advance,
Sanya

Most likely those changes are saved in your default template. Cleaning out
your template should fix things. Worst case, trying deleting your template
(normal.dotm).

Thank you so much for you reply. Well, I can not delete the Normal.dotm. I
wanted to delete the tab only, either through vba (preferred) or through any
other means.
Any suggestions?

To remove the Add-Ins tab, you must remove any custom toolbars or custom
buttons that you added. To tell you how to do that, we need to know
*exactly* what your initial experiment added, and possibly how it was added.
Can you post the code that you used?

Go to the Add-Ins tab and right click on one of the buttons that you added
and the click on Delete Custom Toolbar
