I am trying to merge multiple documents in one large master document in Word 2008 (Mac OS X). Each of the separate documents contains several footnotes. However, in the master document, the numbering of the footnotes continues from the previous merged document instead of starting from the beginning for each new document. I have tried the INSERT/BREAK SECTION but it doesnt work. Any help will be much appreciated.
