Report -weekly totals grouped by a custom field Text1

I need to generate a report from MS projects that gives me weekly totals that
are gouped by data in the Activity column. Activity is a custom field of type
text1.

Anyone has any idea or suggestions.

You can only get weekly totals for data that is timephased (can be seen in
the Usage views). Have you tried viewing a Usage view then selecting
Project, Group?

You will need to copy Task level Text1 data down to Assignment Text1 level.
