Resource Usage - "Other Projects" values not displaying accurately

S

ST

I have a situation where the work values are not displaying the work values
correctly in the "Other Projects" section for my resources found in the
Resource Usage view. If I open the one of the projects listed in the Other
Project section then it clears up the discrepency. Has anyone seen this
before? Any way I can clear it up? Is this a bug?

We are on Server 2007 SP2 CU June.

This is an unfixed bug in Project Server 2007, but it is not a new bug. The
same type of bug existed previously in Project Server 2002 and 2003. This
bug in Project Server 2007 is why we recommend that users DESELECT the "Load
summary resource assignments" checkbox in the Login dialog in Project
Professional 2007. Beyond this incorrect Work values, the "Other Projects"
section also screws up leveling of overallocated resources. Hope this
helps.

Spio, I believe that has something to do with the "Load summart Resource
Assignements" when you connect to Project Server. I have seen a couple of
posts where the information does not display correctly. I actually believe
that this is a bug. So my recommendation would be to open the projects and as
you already discovered, it will then display the right information.
Hopefully Microsoft will resolve this shortly
