Save All on the My Tasks Page in Project Server 2007

Hi,
I have a resource that was importing her time by clicking on import
timesheet, highlighting the correct week, clicking on import, clicking on the
checkbox to select all of her tasks and then clicking on submit selected.
However, her time wouldn't import into the project plan. Instead, she clicked
on save all before clicking on submit selected and all of her time came
through. What is the difference between clicking on save all and submit
selected? How does that save all work?

Team members should use the Save All button if they enter their progress on
a daily basis on the My Tasks page. The Save All button saves the latest
task progress information in the Project Server database. When a team
member clicks the Submit Selected, the system saves the latest task progress
information but sends only the selected updates to the project manager.
