Save Task Order Error Message Outlook 2003

Sue

In Outlook 2003, I am having a repeated error message prompting me to Save
Task Order. That command is not available and I cannot add any new tasks.

I have already:

run the repair untility
run /cleanviews
removed my add-ins

What can I do, I'm very frustrated!!!

Are you using a .PST file? If so, try running the Inbox Repair Tool against
it to see if it finds any errors. Search your drive for a file called
scanpst.exe and run it. Allow the program to make a backup of your file
before it makes any changes.

Jocelyn, do you know for sure if a corrupt pst is the issue? We have a VP
that has the same issue but he uses a combination of his live Exchange
account and PST files that he keeps for archieve purposes. His tasks are
located on the server, not in a PST. He is using an OST however. Any thoughts?

If you haven't tried the /CleanViews switch yet (it didn't work for the
original poster), you might want to try it -- it's suggested in this MSKB
article: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;292894
