When I modify certain forms or reports or even just a specific element on a
form or report, Access 2007 crashes and pops up a message: "Microsoft
Offices Access has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry
for the inconvenience."
This seems to be associated solely with the saving of a specific form/report
and only when I am working on a specific element, a label, text box or
whatever.
Once I restart Access, I can work on other forms/reports and sometimes even
different elements of the same form and save that. But when I return to that
element, it crashes again.
I have tried recreating that element from scratch and sometimes, but not
always, that works. I haven't seen any consistent reason why that is
happening. It has happened on both my home and office computer.
What could be causing this?
