I'm really happy with the way OneNote 2007 has progressed. I am using it to
organize many of my client/business files/information. However, one thing
that I am having a hard time with is scanning documents. Let's say I have a
contract that I want to scan in. First, I'd have to use another program to
create a file (rather than just scan printouts directly into OneNote). I
would mainly opt for creating a PDF file. Now, when I do import a PDF file,
there's just a PDF image. If I want I can insert Print Outs of the pages,
however, they are inserted one after another. I guess I could mannually
overlay the pictures, or is there another way to do this? Either that or do
you suggest I just Print Out the first page? While I could type in a
description of the document next to the PDF image, I feel its better to see
what the document is at a glance.
Is there another way to scan in multiple documents in PDF format right into
OneNote? Essentially, so that it has PaperPort type functionality, rather
than using something to create the PDF then importing the file into OneNote.
It's just that it seems like a few extra steps. Thanks.
