Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Power PC I have a document that has scroll boxes sent to me, and I cannot get them to work, all I get is the picture.

The odds are that ActiveX Controls were innappropriately used in the
creation of the document. ActiveX isn't supported by the Mac OS.

That is what I suspected. NOw what do I do? It works on PC at work but not on my Mac.

Well, there really isn't much you can do -- unsupported is unsupported, so
unless you're capable writing support for ActiveX into Apple's operating
system code you'll need to get the file into a Windows version of Word.

Actually, just to slit hairs, I would quibble with the description
"Unsupported".

This particular function is not "Unsupported", it's "Not there at all".

"Unsupported" means "it is there and you can use it, but if it blows up,
you're on your own."

ActiveX is simply "absent" from any version of Mac Word: it's not there, and
it never was there.

Sorry.
