When I try to invite others on a calendar event, it allows me to add people to the calendar event, but then the "SEND" icon does not appear on the calendar notice. So it does not invite those who are included on my list. Suggestions?

I have a similar problem.

Prior to an Entourage update a couple of months ago I could create a
calendar entry and have both the To:, CC, BCC box and the send icon.

Now I have to go to the menu Event> Invite to get only the To: box. Once
I'm done the calendar entry I have to go back to Event>Send Invite Now

I looked at View > Customize toolbar and this doesn't allow me to fix
Calendar event window. Ideas?

Not sure what you mean by this. Each window type has its own separate
toolbar that you'll need to customize. That means you need to have a
calendar item open and *then* customize the toolbar.

Anyone have an idea how to fix my problem?

It is not just the send icon missing

It looks to me like you have discovered a Mac OS X feature that confuses
many users. Can you see the tiny pill-shaped button in the upper right
corner of the New Event window? Click on it to bring back the toolbar. This
button is available in many applications, and it is meant to allow you to
quickly hide the toolbar. It can be a useful feature to have once you know
how it works.
