Setting Default Size for Inserted Pictures

J

John L. Peters

I am inserting about 400 pictures into a presentation and every
picture inserts at 71% actual size. I have already sized all of the
images in Photoshop. However, I cannot find a way to get PP to insert
the pictures at 100% by default, so I am having to reformat each
picture one-at-a-time.

I am using PP on OS X.

Any suggestions?

Hi John,

I don't know of a way to change the sizing behavior of PowerPoint, but there
is a way you can work around it. Jim Gordon has released an add-in called
"Insert Picture" that will prompt you to import a picture, and the macro
will then insert the picture and size it to the slide.

Jim is actually in the process of developing a new add-in that allows users
to batch-import images into PowerPoint and size them to the slide. He'll
hopefully post an announcement here when he releases it.

Mickey is right - I am beta testing it right now. If you would like a test
copy please send an email to me. Please make the subject stand out so I can
pick it out of the sea of SPAM.
