ShapeSheet; is there a way to create an "inches" dimensional unit?

David

I'm using Visio 2003. I'm having difficulties in translating my dimensions
into inches only. While 'Page Setup' offers both inches and inches (decimal)
as a choice, 'Precision & Units' offers only inches (decimal).

What I'd like to do is have the dimension read "17 3/4 in", but all I can
get to show up is "1ft 5 3/4 in". I'm producing a suite of production
drawings and the guys in the shop use tape measures. The majority of tape
measures out there list dimensions in inches.

I've been able to use the ShapeSheet function to get more precise
measurements in my drawings, can anyone out there help me figure out how to
modify the group of formulas to show only inches?

Thanks

After changing the Page Units to Inches, I am able to change the Precision
& Units settings to see only Inches in my drawings.

What we do not have, however, is fractional inches. As far as I know, the
only Precision options available are in decimal form, so if you select "0"
as the Precision, for instance, you get a truncated number. If you select
"0.0", for instance, you get decimal inches. There is no Fractional Inches
choice available.
