ShapeStudio project -- masters containing other ShapeStudio master

I'm working on a project in ShapeStudio in Visio 2003. I've generated a set
of masters for small component parts. Can ShapeStudio incorporate those
masters as instances on another master?
e.g. If I use ShapeStudio to create various shapes such as Engine,
Transmission, and Bumper, can I also create masters in the same ShapeStudio
prject which use those shapes such as Car, Bus, and Truck.

It seems to work, but I wanted to be sure that there aren't any gotchas down
the path. If I update the ShapeStudio definition of Engine, then regenerate
the stencil file, does the instance of Engine in the Car Master also update.

I am trying to use ShapeStudio in Visio 2003 for the first time. I managed to
install the SDK and used the SQL script (SStudio.sql) to create the
ShapeStudio Database and the Global project.

From within ShapeStudio I was able to create a new project. However, I was
unable to create any masters, base masters, or actions. I got an error
message that the "master could not be cretaed. Please try gain later".

Have encounter this or simlliar problem?!
