Signature in Outlook

We have a SBS 2003 with exchange. Some of out users have an e-mail adress on
the exchange server and an pop3 e-mail adress outside the server. They all
have a signature to both account and the signatures changes if you change
the account.

One of the users have a problem. When she creates a new e-mail, the
signature of the default e-mail account is written in the mail. But when she
changes the e-mail account, the signature does not change as is should and
as is does on the other users.

Can someone explain that?

Using Outlook 2003? That feature only works when you have Word set as the
email editor;
Tools->Options-> tab Mail Format

Hello

We are using Outlook 2003 but did not use word as email editor. I have now
changed that but now we have another problem.

The signature for the default account appears. When I change the account the
signature disappears and when I change back to the default account nothing
happens?

This is because you don't have a signature configured for both accounts.
Basically what you do is "signature switching". However, if there is no
signature defined for you other account, then it can't switch signatures
anymore. Set a signature for the other account as well and it should work. A
blank signature will do.

I have a signature configured for both accounts, thats is why a don't
understand what is wrong.

I am having the exact same problem. When i create a "new" email th
defualt signature shows up. When I switch to the next email account th
default signature disappears (as it should) but it is not replaced wit
the signature I have set up for the second account and when i switc
back to the default account the default signature doesn't show up agai
either. The strange thing is when i reply to an email from the secon
account the correct signature shows up. I made sure the new email an
reply/forward boxes are checked and the proper signature profile wa
selected for each email. I think it is a glitch in Outlook. maybe
need to reinstall. Has anyone figured out a solution or have
reccomendation??? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jaso

What version of Outlook? Did you try disabling or changing th
signature and then changing it back? Since only the new mail sign is ba
for the second account, i would try changing it - maybe make a new si
and see if it works
