Single Cell Click selects 3 cells at a time

Giovanna

The issue I am having is as follows: I single click on one row and the two
rows below get selected at the same time. This also happens when I select a
cell - the two cells below get highlighted also. I can't get it to stop
doing this even when I close excel and re-open. This is an intermittent
problem. If someone has a solution that would be fantastic. I am using
Excel 2007 with XP.

Thanks.

hi
if 07, it might be a reported bug. some users have reported that adjusting
the zoom helps corrects the problem but it seems to be a temporary fix.
i have not heard if there is a permanent fix yet. be on the lookout.
you might also hit the F8 key. this turns "extended select" mode on and off.
it may or may not help.

Bah! I'm having the exact same problem, except in Excel 2010 in Windows 7. So annoying.
