Some recipients receive 2 copies, some don't get any.

Hello,

My co-worker is having email trouble. Her computer is running Outlook 2003,
SP3 on XP.
We had a computer guy transfer us to a server, with email being forced
through the server, then there was so much trouble he took us off and "undid"
everything. We are currently "popping" email like we used to. Mine is fixed,
thanks to help on these boards, but the same fix didn't work on her computer
so I have come back for additional assistance. (The distribution list was
pointing to the wrong place.)

When she sent her news message this morning, some people in her Distribution
List did get the message - some once, some twice. Other people didn't get it
at all.

It doesn't appear that outgoing messages are being scanned by antivirus
software. Her timeouts are the same as mine (and mine works fine) although
her computer is sluggish and has been for some time now, so I don't know if
that makes a difference.

Please let me know what other information you need. I appreciate the help.

Does the DL have duplicates? Are the addresses in the DL properly formed?
Did the users who didn't get a copy look in their junk folder?

Hi Diane, thank you for your response.

There are no duplicates in the DL
The addresses should be properly formed ([email protected]) etc. If that
is not what you meant, I will need more information to explore.
No copies are found in the junk folders of the intended recipients.
