Spam getting through in spite of "Safe List Only."

Outlook 2007 on Windows 7. For a long while I have used the level of junk
e-mail protection: "Safe List Only." This has worked well up to recently. I
am now getting junk from someone who claims to end all further e-mail if I
send USPS mail to:

10606-8 Camino Ruiz, Suite 172
San Diego, CA 92126

They change their domain name every time, so placing them on the blacklist
does no good. Are others having this problem? Is there anything I can do to
get this traffic into my junk e-mail folder automatically?

Thanks in advance,

Bob

I'd create a rule that deletes messages containing "Camino Ruiz" in the body.

I cannot do that as the address string is inside an image. In fact, the
whole body is an image. I am having further grief. I just upgraded avast!
to Internet Security 5.0 and now Outlook times out on send and/or receive.
Sigh!

Uninstall Avast and reinstall it without the mail integration feature.

Hi Brian,

I signed on this morning and Outlook decided to work! There are only a few
things I can think of to explain this behavior. 1/ My ISP (att.net) was
having trouble and it happened at the same time I installed avast! 5. This
is most likely. 2/ Something in avast! 5 is preserved during a warm boot and
is cleared out after a cold boot. I do not think this is very likely, but
hey, I have been in the computer business since 1963 and I have seen a lot of
weird things .

I had previously turned off avast's mail "shield" and deactivated the avast
plug-in in Outlook, but even after a reboot, I was still having issues. All
that has been resolved and thank you for your help. I am still dealing with
the spam issue, but it is at such a low level that I will be working with
avast to help me on that front when I get back from vacation next week.

Thank you for your help,

Bob
