specifying chart area size

G

Genevieve

I'm hoping someone knows the answer to this... say you have 2 bar charts side
by side. The one of the left has the tick mark labels, and you remove the
labels from the one on the right. The chart area then becomes bigger than the
one on the left. Is there any way to precisely change the chart area? Please
see my picture as an example.

Many thanks!

Not that I'm aware, Genevieve. It's maddening, I know.

I have the same problem when one of the X axis labels drops to two lines on
one chart, but not on the other. I sure wish the folks at MS responsible for
charting would make the plot area size define-able.
