speed of page refresh in visio environment

With respect to a diagram whose shapes are linked to a database. When the
page refresh macro is activated, Which of the following situations would
refresh the shapesheet cells quicker? six shapes on the one page, each shape
with only one cell linked to a database, or, one shape with six of its
shapesheet cells linked to a database? where is the time constraint in visio?
more shapes per page to refresh or more cells per shape to refresh?
appreciate any comment? TIA

My guess is that a single shape is faster. The Database Wizard add-on
interacts with Visio through its API. This means that the fewer number of
objects that must be accessed, the faster the add-on will run.
