Hello,

I am having problems submitting my first changexml using
SetAssignmentWorkData.

the user ID I am using has every permission set in the PWA server settings.

I am using the ERP Connector and it performs all other web service calls
correctly with the same user id.

Does this method only update assignments for a logged-in user?

So does this error mean that the assignment I am trying to update is not
assigned to my resource identity in project server?

Yes, this method (like most Statusing methods) uses the logged-in user.
If you want to set assignment work data for another resource, you should
use impersonation.
