Stoplight indicator for effort,requirements,quality?

Hi,

In my company we are looking for creating tarcking projects from 4
perspectives;schedule, scope(requirements),effort, quality. For that I am in
the look out for guidance ,help in the process of creating stoplight
indicator for scope(requirement),effort & quality. I have managed to have it
done for the schedule from one of the help file in this forum only.

Scope(requirements): Number of planned requirements for a particular time
period vs number of requirements actually delivered.
Effort: Planned vs actual effort for particular task as well as project.
Quality: Number of bug logs for a particular task as well as project . If
the number exceeds a thrshold value then the graphical indicators should come
into play.

Dale,i have two of your books ;Managing Enterprise projects with pro server
2003 & Administering Pro server 2003. But didn't find a lot in this regard.

can anyone of you help me out in achieving this goal?

I am using Project server 2003 & project pro 2003.

Thanks,Ratnadeep Banerjee,PMP

There is no "out of the box" functionality in Project Server 2003 to support
what you are attempting to do. To accomplish this, the only way would be to
use custom enterprise fields. Whether you use custom enterprise Project
fields or Task fields, and how many you use is entirely up to you. Let me
turn this back to you for further study and to ask, "What avenues are you
considering for solving this problem?" It would be easier for me to
critique a potential game plan for this situation, rather than trying to
develop the game plan for you. Let us know, as perhaps the others in this
newsgroup will have ideas for you as well.
