I have Outlook 2007 with all updates applied running on XPsp3. Outlook is at
the installation default setting; i.e. Inbox Arranged by: Date ; Newest on
Top. Scenario is this: A new e-mail is received and shows up as it should
bolded with a time stamp say of 3:00pm. I click on it (once) to view in the
reading pane and by now lets say it's 4:10pm when I do this. The e-mail will
show in the reading pane but the header and subjec info (where I clicked on
once) advance to the top of the today section and the time stamp changes to
the current time - in this case 4:10pm. Once the e-mail is opened and not
bolded anymore this won't happen.
