Strangest Thing: Disappearing Status Reports

I am using Project Server 2003. Resources submit their status reports
to the project manager, in response to the request she sent out. The
user then submits his status report. The PM sees that she has X new
status reports on the PWA Home Page. However, when she clicks on the
status reports and look at the status report submitted (with the
appropiate dates selected), she does not see all the submitted status
reports.

I've recreated this by repeatedly logging in as the resource, re-
submitting the status report, then logging in as the PM as seeing the
number of new status reports go up by 1. Yet, on the status report
page, the resource still appears as a question mark.

I've gone into the database, and looked at the
MSP_WEB_STATUS_RESPONSES table. I've compared submitted responses
that are showing up for the PM to submitted responses that are not
showing up for the PM. The values seem to be the same in each field
(other than the USERID and DATESUBMITTED, obviously). Is there
something I should look for here? I also checked the error logs on
the application server and see nothing suspicious at the time users
are submitting their status reports.

Could this just be a matter of unexplained corruption? Can status
reports become corrupt even without evidence of corruption in the
database?
