I think that word should be setup
at installation with the default enabled
to save backups.
then if the user didn't want the backup
feature, it could be disabled.
but for the convenience of new users
or semi-seasoned users like me who forgot
to enable it,
having it enabled at installation time
would be a smart thing to do.
