synchronization of groups MS Project Server <->AD

Hello,

I've problem with synchronization between groups from MS Project and AD. As
I believe, first I create a group in MS Project Server, and then try to map
it with another from AD. But after the process of synchronization, I receive
the error that it failed. In my event log I receive the following message.

The domain in functioning great, so maybe some prblems with communication.
or maybe I should synchronize MS Project with AD first? Maybe I am doing
something wrong? Please help!

MS Project Server 2003
MS Windows 2003 Ent + AD
MS SQL 2003 SP3

Hello,

I have the same problem but my structure composed :

One server windows 2003 server with the domain A (parent domain) with
AD.
One server windows 2003 server with the domain B (child domain) with
AD.

One server windows 2003 server with Project Server who is join domain
A.

My questions is :

I would like to syncronize the groups from AD (domain child B). I
create a
group "GroupUsers" in Project Server. This group exists in AD domain
child.

Then I wrote in PWA (e-mail address removed) and I get errors.

Plese help me because I don't understand

I was having similar problem with AD sync and PWA. What I realized was
that in the field where you specify AD name to sync in 'PWA - Admin -
Modify Groups' you should not have any domain name included - just
input the AD group name.

So, instead of ADS\<groupname> I changed it to <groupname> and then it
worked smoothly.
