Table of authorities - Word 2007

I have created a lengthy table of authorities for a legal brief. Amongst my
authorities are cases, statutes, rules and statutes. The table mixes up some
of my authorities into the wrong catagories. I labeled each authority
manually and want to fix this mis-attribution, which I am certain is not my
fault. Short of cutting and pasting manually, what is my solution to this
mess?
