I am working on a project that will be staffed 24 hours / day, 7 days / week
by two shifts of 12 hours. I've set up in the resource pool those available
on the night shift and those for the day shift (with maximum quantities) - it
is a different number per shift for each resource group.
My question is how best to assign resources to tasks that can be worked on
both the day or night shift? For example, a task requires 8 men from
resource XYZ working for 8 hours duration. Do I assign 8 men from the day
and night shift resource groups for XYZ to ensure that the task can be worked
regardless if it falls during the day shift or the night shift?
