text alligment on the "circled" shapes

I use Visio 2000pro version, and always while trying to allign text over
"curved" shapes I fail. Text is always - straight line.
Do anyone know the trick how to do it (bent over circle)? Or, the only
choice is to change software?

That's still on the wishlist. The only way to have curved text is to create
the text as a shape in a third party package, like Word Art.
