text shift after upgrade

Pepita

I just upgraded to 2007 and all of the text in my existing presentations
appears shifted up above the text box in all modes. The text boxes are in
the right place and the cursor is in the middle of the text box, but the text
itself appears about a half inch higher. I can't find a way to fix - please
help!

It's a printer driver issue. Apply Service Pack 2 for Office 2007, and that
should take care of it. If it doesn't, holler back and we'll explain how to
install a proper printer driver.

I installed Service Pack 2. The problem is still here. Any other suggestions?

Yes, try this:

Thanks for installing SP2 -- it's my understanding that this takes care of
most of these printer driver issues. Sorry it didn't work on yours! The test
printer driver thing definitely should, though.

Thank you!! This worked. BUT, now I have the problem of this test printer
being my default when I need to print to a network. This will be frustrating
to have to select a different printer each time. This is not a functional
solution. Am I missing something? I tried taking it off as the default
printer and the problem comes back.

Only thing I know is to see if your printer has an upgraded (or downgraded)
driver that takes care of the issue. (Make sure you install it locally, too,
not just on a network.) You may need to contact the support folks for your
printer.

This incovenience of switching drivers when you print is why I was hoping
SP2 would take care of it for you. Out of curiosity, what printer do you
use?
