Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Email Client: Exchange I have been e-mailing back and forth with one of our Taiwan suppliers. This message contains Chinese characters, embedded images, etc. I had no problems replying before. Today when I went to reply, I simply entered some text and hit Send and got this error:

The action could not be completed.
The Body text is malformed in the selected encoding.

Format is set to HTML. I also changed my attachment encoding from AppleDouble to Base64 and neither work. Will keep base64 as almost 99% of my mail goes to Windows clients.

I don't know what you need to select, but the encoding in this case is
actually found under Format menu --> Character Set.

Hope this helps!
