Time zone Amsterdam GMT + 2 ? Sync is 1 hour of

Dear all,

When synching my addresses and calendar events with the SonyEricsson phone
the times on the phone were wrong. I checked the times and they were wrong
by 2 hours. I checked the phone and set the right time and time zone
(Amsterdam, GMT+1)

After that, the schedule was wrong by only 1 hour. Every improvement is
welcome!

When I look at the Entourage Time zone, it is set as GMT + 2 (Amsterdam!)
That is just wrong. Daylight saving or not, the time zones don't change, it
is GMT + 1 as it has always been. It is so in each and every app and
calender and whatever it will always say GMT + 1 and include dst options.

I could set Entourage to GMT + 2 (Amsterdam) but Me no like!

If Amsterdam is on daylight saving (summer) time, then its time is GMT+2.

Unlike London time, GMT does NOT have daylight time. Thus London time is
GMT+1 on summer time, and GMT the rest of the year.

Similarly, Amsterdam time is GMT+2 when Amsterdam is on summer time and
GMT+1 the rest of the year.

GMT+1 on summer time, and GMT the rest of the year.

Similarly, Amsterdam time is GMT+2 when Amsterdam is on summer time and
GMT+1 the rest of the year.
