I have Office Home and Student licensed. I want to try the full pro package.
If I do the 60 day trial of Office Pro, will that affect the licensed version
I have altready installed?

no it will not.

however, be sure to install
the trial into a separate folder
as the trial may want to upgrade
your current files.

if the above occurs you will
need to reinstall your licensed
package again.

That makes no sense;
All Office versions, at least since 2003, have installed by default, to
version specific folders.

To the OP, if you have the H&S cd, then install Office trial, if you dont
have the cd, or means of reinstalling H&S then dont

yes, I think you are correct.

however, for some reason
I recall being able to select
different folders in the past,

thus my recommendation
which had saved me and
my licensed copy from being
over-writtened by a trial
version.

You simply dont select the Upgrade option, which means its installed in
parrallel
You can set a custom path, but unless there is some other reason, eg not C
then its not worth it
