Troubleshooting set up of a custom page size

I am using Publisher 2003 to print a banner. With my previous computer and
Publisher 98 I had no problem using banner paper. Now, there isn't an option
for banner paper, so I tried to add it as a custom size. I followed the
directions to add the paper size in the general printer settings. It
appeared to be accepted but now my new custom size does not show up as a
choice when selecting a print paper size. What could I be doing wrong? Is
there a reason why Publisher 2003 does not have a default setting to use
banner paper?

File > Page Setup > Printer and Paper is where you set the printer's paper
size.

Then if you want to print onto the entire page, simply select Full Page in
the Layout tab.

This is nothing to do with Publisher, and everything to do with your printer
driver. Publisher doesn't control what your printer driver does, but
doesn't assume anything either (unlike Word). This makes it more flexible
but ever so slightly more difficult to customise to do what you want.

Thanks for your response. I want to use banner paper, where the sheets are
connected. After adding a custom size to the printer server settings, I was
hoping the new size would be available in the printer and paper section of
Publisher, but it wasn't.

This should be an option in the Properties dialog of the Print and Paper
tab.

If not, look for "Custom".
