When attempting to install the .Net Framework, I received the following
message:
“Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 has encountered a problem during setup. Setup
did not complete correctly.â€
Another dialogue box indicated:
Patch packet could not be opened. Verify that the patch packet exists or
that you can access it or contact the application vendor that this is a valid
windows installer patch
I then attempted to run the Windows Update. Instead of installing, an error
message indicated that some of the updates were not installed:
Microsoft .Net Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1 (KB110806)
Consequently, I am unable to install MS 2007 Outlook for business contact,
Microsoft Accounting 2008 and other software. Can anyone help?
Also I had MS 2000 and upgraded to 2007. Which disk is the .Net framework on?
