Suddenly, every time I attempt to open any word file. a blue windows
installer box appears saying "preparing to install". Nothing happens, then
disappears and the same would happen when retrying to open a file again, this
goes on and on. I tried to uninstall the program and reinstall it again. Did
not work. Now, I'm getting a long message saying: This patch package could
not be opened verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it
or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows
installer" I have all 5 discs that came with Microsoft Works Suite 2002 and
never had this problem before. Any suggestions in how to solve this problem?
