Unable to open Excel 2002 file

I have two excel files Sched.xls & Load.xls

1) I run a macro in Sched.xls file that opens Load.xls
and calls a LoadTextfile macro in Load.xls file. The
functionality of LoadTextfile macro is to read text file
and load into excel sheet( After loading the Load.xls
file size grows up to 8MB)

2) First time I can run Sched.xls macro to open Load.xls
and load text file and save programmatically. So for no
problem.

3) Once I save the Load.xls file after loading the data,
I could not open the Load.xls file next time.

4) If I try to open Load.xls (even with Macro disabled),
I could see the progress bar moving to little while, then
whole file disappears. I could only see a blank excel.(it
lead to me where I was) No error message, no warning, but
I do not see the Load.xls file opened.

Please help me on this issue. At-least I would like to
know what causing the problem. Any help would be much
appreciated.
