I'm running Groove 2007 (SP1) on Vista Home Premium (SP1). I have created a
workspace and sent invitations to a colleague (Groove Manager has been setup
and each of us has configured our accounts). They have accepted and are
waiting for the workspace. However, while we are both online (as far as each
of our Groove apps are concerned), yet we don't see each other as being
online. Each of us are showing outgoing messages pending (we each sent each
other a msg via Groove).
I went to communications manager, Network Diagnostics, then Refresh, and got
an error (HRESULT 0x80004005) in Groove.Exe. I have Kaspersky A/V, but have
disabled it's firewall and am using Vista's instead (I've even tried
disabling KAV completely, to no effect). The Groove Network Settings say
that the "Exception for Groove" is enabled. I've even tried disabling all
firewalls. Also, I am behind a Linksys home router/firewall, and have even
punched a pin hole through port 2492, all to no avail.
I/we would love to be able to use Groove, but right now we're dead in the
water.
