What is the exact error message you're getting
when you try to install and what steps are you using?

What version of Windows Terminal Server/Services is
this on?

Hi Bob

Thanks for ur response in Microsoft Discussion.

I will tell u the exact problem what it is

Our O/s is : Windows 2000 Server

Before i was going to Install Terminal Services in that Windows2000 Server,
Ms-Office already installed.

After i installed Terminal Services in that i made some clients and they
also using it well. But some problems they are facing like spell checking
problems and office assistant problem like that small small issues.

What i thought is it might be the problem of the Office Installation in the
Terminal Server system.

Thats why i want to uninstall Office and reinstall it on Terminal services
system. While i am trying to uninstall office from Terminal Server System its
showing a message like U can't uninstall Ms-Office on Terminal Server system
pls visit http://microsoft.com/office/orktools like that. I visited that site
but i couldn't find any information to uninstall Office from the Terminal
Server. I know how to install Office in Terminal Servers.

So i want to uninstall office from Terminal Server and need to reinstall it.
If i want to override the Office also its not accepting. Its giving the same
error msg.

Kindly do the needful to this.

Thanks and Regards

Hi Varadarajam,

I'm guessing that the problem comes from having
installed Office then Terminal Server/Services.

See if the information here helps:

I have the same problem. The cleanup utility doesn't run. It appears that
it installs properly (from Add/Remove programs), then when I go to run it, I
get a missing .dll issue.

I have tried to manually uninstall Office as outlined in article 252566, but
I still get the error pointing me to the ORK tool and transform.

I can't seem to uninstall the Office that was loaded prior to TS and can't
load Office using the Transform as instructed. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Melissa

Actually i didn't try that clean up utility in my terminal server. We are
continuing like before only. I think its the mistake of my collegue who
installed Office before installing the Terminal Services. Actually If u want
to use Office on Terminal Servers we should have to install after
installation of Terminal Services by using of Transforms option. Now even we
can't able to uninstall the office also from the terminal server computer.
Its showing an option like ORKtools some thing like that. What i m thinking
is uninstall terminal services from that computer then uninstall the office,
then install the terminal services on that computer. Using by Transforms
option install the Office. Thats what i am thinking. I think that cleanup
utility also wont work properly. Anyhave wish u all the best. If u find any
other option pls let me know.

Thanks and Regards
Varadarajam.
