Unit of Work in PWA 2007 Not The Same For All Users

Good Morning

I have a situation where the unit of work for all users logging into Project
Server 2007 via PWA is not the same on the My Tasks page.

When I test it via my admin account and a test user account, it displays as
hours which is the correct setting. Other users however see the unit as days
which means that the system either converts the hours into a fraction of a
day (confusing for the user) or if they don't enter the number of hours with
an "h" with it in the timephase grid, it multiplies it by our work day so
that for instance 8hrs becomes 64hrs (8 x 8hrs/day).

Has anyone seen this?

The issue is probably the Webpart setting. I don't have the page in front of
me, but if you go to the My Tasks page, click on Site Settings in the top
right, then Edit Page.....

Select the My Tasks webpart, and open the options in the right panel. Under
PWA, you should see a setting for display units which can be toggled between
hours and days.

How that got changed for some users and not all users, I am not entirely
sure, but there're probably a couple of ways that could've happened.

Thank you everyone for your feedback.

I've alredy gone to the web part settings for the shared view and set it to
days, applied, then set it back to hours with no luck.

I've also gone to several users to see if they have access to change the web
part settings (as they should not by security) and they in fact do not have
the ability to access the site settings menu to change anything.

So many things to stump you with this new product :)

Thanks for the feedback.. I've tried both changing the units, applying, and
changing back, and removing the adding the web part back. Both with no luck.

Has anyone else tried anything?

Gary,

The same thing is happening here and none of your suggestions worked... much
to my suprise. Another thing to note is that we're running a second server
that we are using for testing. On the second server, the task units are
displaying correctly for the individual having a problem on our real server.

Do you have any other ideas?

I have additional information to my below info. The problem seems to follow
the user. If the user logs into a different PC, the same problem appears.

Any ideas?
