Update of MS Ofc2K, SR-1a

Trying to update MS Office. Can't locate the "right"
DATA1.msi file. Specifically trying to get some fixes to
Word and Outlook by way of SR-3. but gotta do SR-1a of
Office first. OS is Win2K, SP4

Started as retail disk Office97. Updated w/Upgrade disk to
Office2000 Standard. Updated via internet to SR-1.

SR-1a will not load. Keeps asking for MSWord disk and
saying that this just is not the CD that will do the job.
Have tried to locate other versions of the .msi file, but
it does not like ANY .msi file, on CD or on hard drive.

Any ideas?

Hi ,DT,

Did you ever have Works? It's possible that the installer is looking for
your Works CD (from which Word was likely installed).
