Use one account to send another to receive

Email Client: imap

Interesting, I have one account unchecked to send and receive, yet I use it to send, have it's defaut checked, and it sends ok.

Then I use another account imap to receive. It seems to be working. I guess these are not mutually exclusive. correct? thanks.

That's correct. You can reply to any message using any account you have
configured in Entourage, regardless of which account received the message.

Thanks William, what I was asking ( seems far-fetched) is there a way you don't have to go to the drop down list -- ie somehow automate it to know which accunt (not the receiving one) you want to respond with.

You can set Entourage preferences to reply either from the default account
or from the account which received the messages. To reply from any other
account requires using the drop-down list.
