Using Access to fill standard forms

How would I use access to fill out a variety of standard forms? I have most
of the forms as fillable PDF, or they could be scanned in as any format.

The plan:
Customer/part table and case specific user input are combined to fill in the
data fields on the standard forms. A form is printed, or PDF created, and a
table is appended to record the event.

The part table carries flags for the forms that are required, as some
require multiple forms.

I'm confident that I can work out the database and query issues, what I need
help with is getting the form into a format that access can fill, and getting
the data into the correct locations on the form. >>>>> nightmares with
Crystal Reports in the past.

I'd really like this to be a "teach me to fish" exercise. None of my books
have been any help.
